Forget About Today And Think Of Tomorrow

Humour me something
Try to make me forget things
Why don't we play Truth or Dare
Our anger shall flare
Because our past is our past
And our mistakes are passed
We wish only for comfort
So Truth and Dare discomforts
Fidgeting with our inner devils
Sadness is past the highest level
Tears creep upon us
Holding each other I say we're blessed
To have someone to love ourselves
And to heal themselves
The gun was never used
And we smiled, confused
Could love stop us knocing at Death's door?
So as to not leave us less than a corpse?
We feel loved and happy
Doesn't that make this movie sappy
Love stops inner battles
Like a snake ceasing to rattle
And we're happy to be alive for once
Knowing that our love won't last, more than once
Let's hold each other and play Hide and Seek
We'll only hear our shrieks
Because love didn't last
Love used to be a blast
But it doesn't work anymore
And people will find us bleeding on the floor
The gun we never used
Leaves others confused
But what can we do?
We see each other and grew
To a point where things were all new
In spirit I say thank you
For you have given me feelings
And we cut our love dealings
No more shall we live
Our love we'll never give.
