He died with honor and pride
He protected our friends with all his life
He took a bullet to his chest and with that he was dead
But I still have to ask why
Only 18 and had to give up his life
That is ********
He had so much going for him
A daughter that meant the world to him
Why take that away from her?
What a jerk ******* death can be
Only 1 year old, left with no family
But if you think about it
It must be his time
And with that we just cry
Openly or quietly, neither matters for sure
But in the end the tears flow

| i like your poem... i like how you used your life and wrote about it... i know alot of people do this... but how you wrote it made me even tear up and remember times when i lost people and the reasons also the feelings... this is a nice piece!

I like this, though it is very sad.
It is a little like you are accepting it, and that, is good in a way.
I think that it would have been better without th swearing, but it is still a very good write, full of feeling.
I'm sorry for your loss.
