Cruelty

Contributed by helzwar007 on Sunday, 21st August 2005 @ 12:15:49 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Why does it seem,
That instead of friends you’re a team,
Consulting a scheme,
Just to be mean?

Why are we cruel?
It’s like a duel.
Competing to win,
Straight out of sin.

To see who is worse,
So that you come in first,
In this game,
All full of shame.

You don’t have to play the game of hell.
“Oh no, oh please don’t go and tell.”
I’ll get in trouble,
From the game of the devil,

Oh why does it seem,
That we have to be mean?

A very interesting poem, nobody ever knows why people have to be cruel.

Good write-
Just my own thoughts here...
It is only human nature to destroy that which we do not understand or know-
Man preys upon man for no reason at all-
No one wants to be the looser and there is strength in numbers so we "gang up " on the single person to insure the victory.

This is an awasome poem of quiestions for your first write (or one of them) but just through my opinion people are mean even when they dont mean to be, they still think it in their thoughts, or they still stare at those less fortuate. but yes that is only my opinion.
