The Greatest Robbery

You’ve stolen away the razorblade kisses,
And replaced them with your own.
In the beginning they were all I had,
But now I have you to hold.
This is all I have ever wanted;
this is all I will ever need.
Feeling safe, hidden in your grasp;
You’ve no clue what you mean to me.
One slight touch from your lips
Can chase everything away.
For once, everything is perfect,
And suddenly I am unafraid.
The very thought of losing you
Holds certain agony.
And I know the only way to live,
Is with you right here next to me.
