What She Could Be

Contributed by blue_angel on Friday, 19th August 2005 @ 08:12:09 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

And there she stood, wristbands and all
Left alone in the hall
Calling out but his name
But he stepped out and walked away
And she fell down and she did cry
Looking up and asking why
Without an answer she went home
Ran inside to be alone

She cried herself to sleep that night

[chorus]
She’s falling faster
Into her nightmares
No one to catch her as she
Dwells in so much pain
She’s crying “Hear me"
Can anyone see me?
Someone please save me as I
Scream out all my vain

More and more she falls behind
Hurting herself to get by
Let out blood to let out pain
Every night it ends the same
And she grew weak and she gave in
Carelessness inside her sin
I only wish she could have seen
The amazing girl she could have been

She wishes it would end her pain

[chorus]

She hides a knife under her bed
With thoughts of death deep in her head
She waits for everyone to leave
So she can watch herself bleed
And tears of red stream from her eyes
As she wishes she would die
Cleansing waters wash her wounds
She prays silently that it’s soon

She’ll never see what she could be

[chorus]

Not rather sad, it's extremely sad.
I can't believe 5 people have read it already without commenting.
This is very well written. I'm sure it would be better to have music to put with the lyrics.

Take Care,
Lizzie

good song, jennie. but remember, we die alone together. i mean, i'm ready to go... but a.f. probably isn't. and she'd be mad at us if we died alone together without her. but, jennie. plz don't hurt yourself. we both know you are capable of a lot and you'll make an amazing person in the future. if you just stay here with me... where i need you and WANT you. plz, don't hurt yourself, jennie. i care a lot about you! remember? my best friend? please, take care of yourself.

your very caring friend who loved the song,

~shelly
