Querido

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Friday, 19th August 2005 @ 07:48:55 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

My eyes are dancing upon the contours of a surreal vision,
Colors of recycled air and polluted memory,
Bittersweet inspiration humming threads of poetic thought and beautiful ramblings,
All harmoniously in tune with the melody of my joyful tears and Beethoven’s nostalgic whispers…
A sonata of simple words rises 12 notes higher,
Crescendo of hidden emotions and the scent of lavender…

Wisps of clouds float by like sleep walkers, lethargic and divine,
The castles of my endless reveries diminishing as consciousness arrives,
I stretch and twist myself until I’m completely folded,
A flawless knot of broken flowers and splendor,
The sun has yet to brush her teeth and blind me,

I’m still dreaming with my eyes wide shut,
And I can’t seem to rise from my tomb of scarlet sheets and ebony pillows,
My tranquil sea of crimson fantasies and black concepts of white nothing…

I’m still lost in this realm of naked illusions and forbidden ecstasy,
My hands wreak of rotting mutton and suppressed sentiments,
Fingers vomiting their souls (or are they shattered fragments of my own? I can’t remember…)
And it can do nothing but swallow my bitter secretions of worthless attempts to create a goddess…

It can only smile and endure the repulsive after-taste of my tears,
As they laugh and run like children through the fields of my words…
Making sweet love to each blooming syllable,
Washing away the wretchedness, the decay,
And leaving only a useless page of smears,
Yet… I know that somewhere, amid the madness and obscurities,
There lies the luscious manifestation, the alluring sighs,
Of you,

Querido…

If this being of whom you speak has any eyes inside its head it must consider itself divinely blessed in ways transcending superlative, to deserve such illustrious illustrations of sweet syrup and anguished cries of an ethereal soul...

A sonata of simple words rises 12 notes higher,

What a beautiful line this is, and this one as well:

My hands wreak of rotting mutton and suppressed sentiments

So random and immediately distasteful... I love it! Definitely instills the desired affect.

In every line of this divine creation one can not help but feel to gritting teeth and the depths of their heart such, as you love to say, bittersweet emotions and excruciations of honey...

You are a flawless knot of broken flowers and splendor, Querida, and such velvet skin of angels holds sweet poignant delight in trembling in this agony, for it will reap elation and truimphant victory of a perserverant mind and soul...

Thank you once again for laying your soul upon me like a velvet blanket of sighs and tears... and I hope I am not welcome, Sweet Cerise.
