Summer days
But not too hot,
An ice-cold beer
That hits the spot.
Candle light
At dinner time,
Stars in night sky
So sublime.
Sunshine sparkling
Off water blue,
A gentle swell
In ocean too.
Hair being stroked
By one I love,
A quiet chat
With One above.
A funny movie
Romantic too,
Making a friend
I never knew.
Accomplishment
Once things get done,
A nice clean house
Time for some fun.
Puppies licking
My hands and face,
Riding a fast horse
Through wide open space.
Rain on tin roof
While I’m snug in bed,
An encouraging word
Quietly said.
Cooking a meal
For a large group of friends,
Nice glass of wine,
The fun times we spend.
Reading a book
Till late in the night,
Sitting at computer
Inspired to write.
Finding a bargain
Whenever I shop,
Listening to music
I dance till I drop.
Christmas and birthdays
When I get a gift,
Ripping it open
With paper adrift.
Seeing the world
For the first time,
Travelling round
Being in my prime.
My friends and family
Here and away,
The weekend when
Its time to play!

It are the lil things that you portraited so wonderful which make life so enjoyable and worthwhile.
Tho, I feel Christmas times is about giving and not recieving but yeah it is nice when ya recieve a pressie.
