Word'sworth

Contributed by xnoybis on Friday, 19th August 2005 @ 01:06:52 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Convoluted condiments
Filled with Death and Heaven sent
Made of glass and flame and sand
Deconstructed Lego-land

Optimistic optitricians
Giving in to premonitions
Filling stages with the eyes
Dropping curtains for disguise

Washed back Kool Aide
Warmed up and half made
Gone out for waffles
Smothered in butter blades

Scanning the venue
And reading the menu
Everything's kosher
You should have been you

Nevermind drinks
Accelerate blinks
Build up a slide show
To show what you think

Cartoon bubbled coloured words
Have a penchant for absubrd
Funny light frames funny faces
Sending thoughts off to the races

Chasing off the little things
Filling gaps with what it brings
Connecting dots and twisting lines
Surfing away on waves of signs

I like this poem. I get that it explains the philosophical, political, and social connections of humanity having less salt, which we need always remember the teacher who spices it up for us, if we stop twisting our lives around in His perfect world. We are free and released to Him if we believe. Wordsworth , great title, immortality.. Love it, title+poet.. Brilliant I must say.. Raquel Leah
