Never on my Face
My heart pulls itself apart..
It always does...it always will.
Im sick,
so sick..
Awaiting the day to arrive,
another day will never.
These words haunt me,
I wish my brain would dissolve,
into the images i see,
I hate everyday,
all the darkness that seems to follow me.
The dead, they live with me.
They call me hurt me,
bleed me to almost death..
then they pump the old blood straight back through the holes.
Leave me to be what I want to be...
Stop getting in my way,
foolish demons...
with your broken glass walls..
breaking my skin,
breaking my heart.
'It breaks itself'
'hmm.. I bet it does'
''You hate yourself''
'And so do you'
I'll get rid of this body one day.
I'll burn it to ashes,
before you get chance.
Only those, who dont know me,
Know i want to die,
Only those who are strangers
witness my pain.
And I swear to you now,
my beautiful strangers.
You'll see the pain in my words...
...but never on my face.
And there's something quite sad,
that I think you should know..
If i was to die..
You'd never know.

An awfully sad poem. You hide your pain from the world not letting us see it on your face. And yet we are never really told what caused the pain in the first place. Otherwise very moving.
