I walk these silent streets
Prayin that you were next to me
Walkin these streets
I know it’s going to be me
That ends up alone
And it’s the one
Truth that can destroy me
To the bone
These silent streets
Echo the sorrow I feel
These silent streets
Will never heal
The scars
Made by the stars
In your eyes
The lies
I told myself
Will always be
In my head
Till I'm dead
I’m staying inside from now on
Cause I know I'm not as strong
And you are so wrong for leading me on
For so long
I can’t face the day
I walked away
On these silent streets
Where my heart meets
The echo of your voice
I’ve no choice
But to listen every single day
I can’t stay inside
But I can’t go on the streets outside
I can’t stand the pain
And it’s starting to rain
On the silent streets
I watch the tears
Flow by and the years
Fade away all into nothing
All into everything
I'm torn between you and me
I mourn for me
Cause I know it will never be
You and me
These silent streets are more than I can bear
And these streets are tearing
Me apart from inside out
And I'm outside
On the streets again
Filled with pain
And sorrow I can’t stand the sound
Of your voice down
In my head
And i’ve read
That a heart
Can only take so much before it starts
To break in two for you

| this is so awesome, the repetition of 'these silent streets' really stresses the isolation...it hurts but its awesome |
