Have you ever heard ?
The wails of a breaking heart .
Have you ever heard ?
The cries of a tree when it is been cut .
Have you ever heard ?
The silent conversation a lady has with her to be child .
Have you ever heard ?
The cries of a just born baby who has been abandoned .
Have you ever heard ?
The shrills of a bird when it is shot by a poacher .
Have you ever heard ?
Your heart missing a beat ,
everytime you see your sweetheart .
Have you ever heard ?
A person who is on his death bed praying to God that
" Forgive me for all my misdeeds and let my soul dwell
in peace after I die ."
Have you ever heard ?
All the unsaid words of the person who loves you .
Have you ever heard ?
All the unwritten and unassumed feelings
A poet puts in his poems .

I like this poem soo much... and it really does make you think about things.. the last 2 lines were great. This poem lets you realy feel how somethings can be,,, thanks for sharing it.

My oh my !! am I dreaming ,pinch me if I am ,frankly oreo I am short of words to express how elated I was after reading ur comment . glad to know u loved my poem ,I will be writing more poems in the near future hope u like them too .
