NEVER BE

Contributed by gambitone on Thursday, 18th August 2005 @ 03:37:27 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Please don't tell me that the sun's gone
Please don't tell me it's the end
Please don't hide the moon forever
Cause my shadow seems to be my only friend

Please don't lean yourself against me
Please don't draw me out this way
Please don't back away so slowly
Now that I’ve been swallowed by the day

Please excuse me for intruding
Please excuse me for this face
Please excuse this lack of concern
Oh, just release me from this place

Please don't tell me that it's over
Please don't tell me that I'm wrong
Please don't mention to my father
All the shameful things I've done

Oh I can see the thoughts
That you're thinking now
Oh I can see your plans
What you're feeling now

I can see you from the inside
What you hide from me
I can not live like this forever
What is you, I’ll never be

When the heck did you write this one? You were only supposed to read mine! Thunder stealer! Any way, I like it! Especially the fourth stanza.
