Waiting For You
Babe I really hadn't known
how much for you my love had grown,
but ever since we kissed good-bye
I've had to struggle hard to try
to keep my thoughts from drifting.
The love I feel for you is strong,
it keeps me going all day long.
It won't be long and then you'll see
how very much you mean to me.
You keep my life from drifting.
I want for us to share all things,
the joyful moments that life brings.
I treasure every hour with you,
you know I always will be true.
You keep my love from drifting.
It's hard for me since you've been gone,
the days go slow - the nights are long.
my life without you is incomplete,
into my thoughts I do retreat.
My thoughts are only of you.
I need you, want you, love you girl,
life's the ocean but you're the pearl.
Your love and beauty are so rare
that next to you none can compare.
It's you that makes me happy.
You are my life, to you I vow
my love will always be here and now.
A never changing, always growing
type of love to you I'm showing.
My heart speaks only of you.
