On a rainy cold bleak night as
I walk along my way~
Shivering cold fearing the unknown
Darken as the clock slowly came
Upon the wee,wee hour of midnight
I could feel the cold breath
Of something or someone breathing
Close against face~
Not knowning what it was,but trying
To speed my steps without any
Hesitation
As I do not want to ponder, while
The wet frozen leaves crunches
Under my feet,
As I walk a little faster
Not to ponder
As my heart rapidly beats
Even faster
The clear white vapor chill
Fill the air
As I breathe....
As I spoke out of fear, to ask
Who walks along side me?
Certainly I cannot see you
But as if I had not spoken
No answer would it reply
Dark ,cold and dreary the rain
Did get harder as it gotten colder
With some flakes of snow,sleet
Mixture of ice~
I began to run as the steps kept
Up with my pace
Along side me
Who, who might you be?
Still no answer would reply
Are you here to help me?
Still no answer would it reply
As I finally see my house I began
To feel a little relief
I did approach my door and I looked
Around to see who was there
But still as before no one was there
That I could see~
Nor did that speak!
I close my door and there came a
Little tap tap tap on my door!
Whos there I replied?
Still know answer would it reply
Tap tap tap on my door!
Frightened and trembling was I
So I left it as a mystery and covered
Up under my covers and did fall
Asleep..
In the midst of Dec....
