My idea of evolution deludes my reason
This anticlimactic chasm whispers the truth from my thought
And buries me in atrophic inevitability
But as this spiral winds down to a hateful shade of grey
The persistence in this revolution
Fills my mind with emptiness
I know I will discover truth
Although my mortal body fears it
For golden idols wait without worship
and desecration stalks like The Tiger
So sit and watch this fateful ecstacy
Unfold before your starry eyes
For little will they ever comprehend
For comprehension
Was not their purpose
