When you can't think of where to be

Contributed by holderofthestone on Thursday, 18th August 2005 @ 12:39:22 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

How could I have changed it
To see things as I had
I should have been much wiser
And realize I can never have
What it is I’m looking for
What fuels my hearts fire
So I must view from afar
Forced only to admire
The light you shine is different
Your caring is from the heart
You bring me up in trying times
And lead me through the dark
Your silken skin and taunting lips
Make life so hard for me
For as much as I long for you
I know it will never be…
We lead such different lives
Yet I know you know im there
Waiting for you to return to me
When you need someone to care
I wish that things were different,
I wish you thought of me
I wish that you were in my arms
When you can’t think of where to be...

wonderfully written very powerful. I can relate . I love the last couple of lines i think those are the most powerful starting with.
"Yet I know you see me there........When you can't think of where to be."
You get 5stars plus 5 more even if its a little sad :(

Lots of anguish in your words, and I like the kind of staccato flow it had to it...Very nice.

This part stood out for me:

"What is it I'm looking for
What fuels my hearts fire
So I must view from afar
Forced only to admire..."

Keep it up!!

Scorp.
