what's love?

What's love?

Is love the reason you get up at night
Which fills you're heart with nothing but delight
Or is love the reason you cry at night
Grabbing love that's no where in sight

Is love the reason you get in bed
Or is it for sex instead
Or is love the reason you hate the world
All because of just one girl

Is love the reason you can't stop smiling
A face like that there's no denying
Or is love the reason you ran away
Away from the love who would not stay

Truth is, love is a four letter word
And I just haven't got it figured
In the end love is heartbreak
Sometimes a little is too much for a man to take

Love can be god's greatest gift
Or too much for one to lift
Love is pain, love is sorrow
But one thing it can't is wait for tomorrow

Cupid may have hit you with his arrow
But it takes your heart to drown out the sorrow
And open your heart to the one for you
Then you'll see if love is blind or is it true.

"What Love Is", just to share with you
my insights about love. Having read your
poem, I'd say I am in love...Thanks!
