Something Special

Contributed by lancaster on Wednesday, 17th August 2005 @ 06:13:38 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

In the nest that we have built
We will live livelier still

Oceans crash on our porch
As we rock and cradle the night

A calming sensation
When I feel your hand grab for mine

Keep me close to your head
So that your lips are never afar

Anytime you wish to subdue me
Speak the words

And I am yours
And you can only be mine

It is a lesson learned in time
Grow with me

And I am yours
And it will never die

This is very sweet. I like the way it appeals to the sense of touch in the beginning.
Very well written and the last stanza is moving.

Take care,
Lizzie
