I'm a dreamer so you told me
I Dream of having you
Watching the sunset by the sea
Our bodies tightly connected
Letting me kiss you gently
Feeling our bodies as one.
I'm also a pretender
Pretending you're mine to be
Resting my head on your chest
I listen to your heart beat
To my inner demands
And my body’s desire.
Yes I am
All you don't want me to be
Trying to pry open your closed shell
I seek your hidden soul
To bring you to me.
But I know I'm a dreamer
And my dreams last
Even when you build your walls
Providing that it’s only that
A dream.
And yes
Yes I'm a pretender
And I do it so perfectly
Even when bleeding inside
I let you be so near and so far
So you can be away
When you are here and there.
