i saw a girl who drift
bear on a leash
she faded pass me
Drifted and floated no decree
we signed and we lied
only she knew
we dined and we cried
only she knew
and hated us for it
Pierce
the pierce in her eyes
stop your lame dame cries
you don't understand
you can't comprehend
what she needed
what she wanted
was just love
was just acceptance
was just love
love
you soften as you hear
she hardens with cold fear
'what is it like', she asked
you tell her it's all you'd want to bask
and dance under the warm ray of it
Pledge like it was your creed
I saw a girl
she danced and she pranced
hands carrying a bear
Promising plans held with true love
always with her
forever and ever
