Love once found a path through the abyss of night,
Clouding my heart…
Leaving me to rest at the feet of solitude,
An altar of stone caked with a film of drying blood
Spilled from within the ring of fire…
Emanating from the chalice of my soul,
Soaked with the fear of the unknown beyond my own bedroom
Into the depths of life it flows, into the center of my being,
Driving forward the never ending river of tears from which you emerged.
Worn by the harsh years of wrong doings,
Begging silently for love to come your way.
I try to engulf you in my gentle sea of tranquility,
My lonely hearts aches for your love…

Well liked this particular write, of yours. has passion,yet it is deep, and dark. I do hope "love" is found for your self. Seems, alof us, do not find, or find the wrong kind.! And sorry for the comment I left on one of your writes.it was not nice.! Wanted to apologise.!
