Remember To Breathe

Contributed by Beckett0306 on Tuesday, 16th August 2005 @ 02:26:41 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Silos in the distance
The sun is setting down
Over a ran shakled barn
as this old train moves out of town.

Sitting in this seat
Looking out this window
Thought of confusion
In my head begin to grow.

My future? My life?
I smile.... I cry.
I have so many dreams
But not enough stars in the sky.

LIke a kid waiting for Christmas
I cant wait to grow up.
But it's in this life
That I am stuck.

So like the farmers of summer
You dont know what the future will bring
Wheather it be Rain or Drought

All you can do is keep your head up
Remember to breahe,
And be ready for anything.

I enjoyed this. I don't know about the easy rhymes, as long as your message is conveyed and I think you did a nice job with that.

Take care,
Liz
