Tears drop of my eyes,
Watching mother cry,
She yells she is dying,
I offer my hand to help,
"Not this time baby"
Mommy, "I got to help you"
No one can help,
I am dying off my fat,
Nothing moves in this body,
Struggling for breath,
Nobody wants this body,
Its self struggle every minute,
People hating for no reason,
Eyes watching every step,
Its the addiction to foods,
This body doesnt stop growing,
I cannot move on my own,
It's the suffering i see around people,
But mommy.... please dont let go,
No baby.... I don't have a choice,
I am dying off my fat.

Wow this was a bold write. As a nurse I have seen some horribly obese patients. I also have a beautiful friend who is obese. It is sad, I worry about her health. Obesity is a heart attack waiting to happen. What people fail to realize in this society who judges so harshly, is people are people no matter what color or shape, etc...I look at obesity with sadness never harshness. I do hate to see children with obesity because learning good food habits should start as a child, and I tend to want to place blame on the parents. Well, enough said. Good write on a sad disease. Peace, Laura |

The last socially acceptable predudice....to hate fat people for no reason. I see this everyday and feel such agony for those who are grossly overweight....many because of things they simply cannot help.
This one hit me hard
Very well done

Unfortunately the only person who can help an obese person is themselves. It is an illness with no cure but to cut down on those calories.
People are cruel in this world and it doesn't help the situation one bit.
