Comfort me with smiles, wipe away all of my tears
Take away the lonely nights, all the lonesome years
Take me to a better place, please take me by the hand
There’ve been so many others, who didn’t understand
If I bring you pretty roses, the best that I can find
Will you sing to me of rivers, to help me ease my mind?
If you tell me pretty love words, then I will do the same
There’ve been so many others, who never asked my name
They’d look at me and wonder, what’s he thinking of
When all I’ve ever longed for was only to be loved…
So tell me that I’m handsome, and all your pretty lies
Come along and love me, with little loving sighs
And even if you leave me, please pretend your love is true
There’ve been so many others, there might as well be you...

Gosh, it is hard to not cry upon reading this. It just breaks my heart. Your words are so lovely yet so very sad. I just don't know what else to say. Maybe to someone you are all those things you long to be or maybe soon you will find the right person---who will make you feel loved. I wish for you.
