You left me alone in the shadows,
You toyed within my head.
You wanted me to love you.
And I don’t know why I did.
I don’t understand.
What did you find wrong?
It took me too long.
To realize,
That this was not my fault.
I should have kept my heart.
I was lost,
In a world of light,
Somehow it didn’t seem right.
It was beautiful,
It was meant to be,
I wanted you here with me.
It was great,
It was perfect,
Until the night you came.
You were special,
In my eyes,
You filled me with surprise.
But especially that night,
When you told me it was over.
You left me in the dust.
Out the door,
Say no more.
You don’t want to deal with me.
I stood there,
In the shadows,
No tears fell, from my eyes.
I held back, until morning.
When I couldn’t hold,
No more.
No more.
It hurt me,
Can’t you see?
This is wrong.
I want you back,
Come home to me,
Come back and set me free.
In my dreams,
I always pictured,
You and me.
I’m locked inside,
I was mesmerized,
How could you do this to me?
You left me alone in the dark,
My mind was blowin’ apart.
You know you done me wrong.

A great write flowing and specific, straight from the heart portrays a very revealing veiw
of loves anguished reality . . .
