When I don't know what to say

Contributed by holderofthestone on Sunday, 14th August 2005 @ 09:49:41 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

When I don’t know what to say
I’ll do many different things
To hide all my fears away
And all the pain they bring

When I don’t know what to say
I will sometimes make a joke
Or say something obscure
Just so I don’t choke…

When I don’t know what to say
Often times I’ll act a clown
Anything to make you laugh
So you don’t see me so down

When I don’t know what to say
Sometimes I say nothing at all
It’s easier that way...
Than to let you to see me fall

When I don’t know what to say
All though it doesn’t happen much
These are the times I’m longing…
That I’m longing for your touch

And now I’m trying really hard
To find just the right way...
How can I say I love you...?
When I don’t know what to say…

awww.... good, but sad write. it was like you were describing me and many other people. the feeling of hiding emotions is strong. it's easier to put on a mask then let your heart and mind spill out. just, it's not too healthy. you should find someone you trust and like enough to tell these feelings to. it was a great poem though and you definitely knew what to say here! ; D. well done, keep up the good work!!

and take care of yourself, i hope you find that person i was talking about!

Beautiful write..Until you find a way within your heart to say your sorry that fear in you grows stronger.
Best thing a love can have is honesty with one another..
rest of it works itself out..
Maybe start by sending them this beautiful poem.. Keep your chin up..Huggggggggggs
