Moments in time they thought
of each other. After all the winds had calmed.
all things come back to the beginning,
two spirits had no bounds.
She held the feather of his color,
and cried to the morning Sun.
He held the smallest trinket
close to his chest
begging the Moon each night.
It was true, the story told,
two souls were meant to be,
as time moved on never forgetting.
She would rise,
He would fall.
I heard the story on a jagged cliff
overlooking the desert floor, from
an old Indian man To Many Years"
a gentle soul I found.
He spoke of things to protect us,
this wind I speak of now, talked of
worldly things how they blind us,
how humans are easily fooled.
I sat upon this mountain top,
To Many Years" faced the morning Sun
it reflected off the tear he shed
and the smallest trinket He held........Crow
