Doomed to fall.

anguished

Oh, such sweet hollow screams,
as blood flow streams,
down my cheek to my thy,
eternity yelling at me -
but I dare not cry.
Pain consuming, leeching dry,
emotions, my feelings,
gone in a blink of an eye,
it's too late to turn back,
but never say die.
Sometimes I feel like I was doomed to fall,
never to experience real love or pain or anything at all.
Could I blame it on the things I have done,
or things that could have been but now are gone.
It's eating me whole from the inside,
my heart cries and the pains subside.
Fate drenches in dry rivers
and emotion that gives me the shivers.
Afraid, scared, wrong feeling,
I can't help that no one hears me screaming

A very good poem, I understand what you are saying about the stanza that starts Sometimes I feel like I was doomed to fall. SLipSiX. Keep writing. |
