You Don’t Deserve My Name

Angel is but one letter away from anger as am I
Too many times have I stayed up the night because I cried
The yelling, the punishment, the abuse, the names and shame
My name slung into the dirt
My wounds rubbed in salt and spit on when I was hurt
L is for loser, little, and lesbian
Now I have committed acts that make them never question my sexuality ever again
A is for absent minded, ADHD, and abomination
I stand alone as we are supposedly a united nation
U is for understood, underage, and unimportant
They don’t know me, let along understand me, they all swat away my poetry and rants
R is for reality, rage, and ride
I’ll ride this horror, your reality until I can find happiness among all the hurt inside
E is for enough not another letter more, you don’t deserve my name
Because I am nothing to you sheep who drove me insane
