There is a void in my life,
Your absence cuts like a knife,
And although only an island away,
I miss so much every single day..
I'm a simple and weak man,
But I do everything I can,
To show how much I love and care,
I purse my lips but you are not there.
Every song on the radio that plays,
Make me wish that you'd stayed,
And although I know you'll be back,
Right now it's your love that I lack.
The perfume of your love is gone,
Smiling love that turned into song,
Fingers through your hair used to roam,
Now all I have is a crowded room, alone.
