as i lie here below
over my left shoulder i see
the meaning for my existence
lying quietly above me
sometimes i get lost
in the depths of my mind
if i had chosen different roads
would fate had been this kind
to lead me to this love
so cherished deep and true
to grant me such happiness
given me the chance to love you
the longer this thought lingers
the more i realize
i wouldn't change a thing
no matter what the prize
there are things that i regret
but will never be sorry for
it makes it all worth while
to have the woman i adore

To have the woman ... or to be with her ? Have is such a possesive word and i am sure that isn't what you mean ... but i just thought i'd ask. The rhythm skips a bit at times but the idea is relatable. i think alot of people would like to feel this too.
