The Cul-de-Sac of The Rose

Contributed by vercat on Monday, 13th January 2003 @ 08:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Grief will invade your dreams.
Listen to the ocean
for all that you would see.
Remember blue fields
fulfilled by the sun
while sorrow sleeps.
Hand in hand
nights bring fish.
Your eyes soak up the sky,
you cannot endure
the murmur of disappearance
in the cul-de-sac of the Rose.
Poems there will be silenced,
the songs will make you cry,
glass will break in your hands.
You cannot think,
and then you know
you are able no longer to see me
in the cul-de-sac of the Rose.

LE CUL-DE-SAC DE LA ROSE

Les douleurs envahiront tes rêves
Ecoute donc la mer
Par tout ce que tu vois.
Souviens-toi des zones bleues
Remplies par le soleil
Pendant que les chagrins y dorment
La main dans la main
Les nuits apporteront des péchés…
Tes yeux boiront le ciel
Tu ne pourras pas supporter
Le murmure d’une disparition
Dans le cul-de-sac de la Rose.

Les poèmes y seront silencieux
Les chansons te feront pleurer
Les verres se briseront dans tes mains
Tu ne pourras pas penser
Et puis…sache que
Tu ne pourras plus me voir
Dans le cul-de-sac de la Rose.

DIE AUSWEGLOSIGKEIT (SACKGASSE) DER ROSE

Die Schmerzen breiten sich über deine Träume aus
höre also dem Meer zu
durch alles was du siehst.
Erinnere dich an die blauen Gebiete
erfüllt von der Sonne
während die Kümmernisse dort schlafen
Hand in Hand
die Nächte werden die Sünde bringen.....
Deine Augen werden den Himmel trinken
du wirst es nicht ertragen können,
das Flüstern eines Verschwindens
in der Ausweglosigkeit der Rose.
Die Gedichte werden dort stille sein
die Lieder werden dich zum weinen bringen
die Gläser werden in deinen Händen zerbrechen
du wirst nicht denken können
und dann...wisse
du wirst mich nicht mehr sehen können
in der Ausweglosigkeit der Rose.
