Mommy, Why do you hate me so?

Contributed by Ineedanap on Friday, 12th August 2005 @ 01:20:53 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

I can no longer take it
This torment that seethes
Throughout your entire body
And transmits into me

Your icy soul and bitter heart
Has consumed me entirely
And as my body decays in front of you,
No mercy shall I see

I thought that mothers always cared
About the blood of their own
But now I know that’s just a fairy tale
Another story turned cold

I’ve loved and given all I had
To try and make you content
But now my body is bruised a broken
A victim of self-regret

So mommy tell me just one thing
And I promise I will go
Why do you love everyone more than me?
Why do you hate me so?

Sometimes mothers are the hardest on the people they care about the most. It took many years before me and my mom could talk about any thing and for a long time i thought she hated me.

Just recently my mom disowned me..my sister and my brother*sigh* its really tough..

A good question to ask. I doubt if you will ever get an answer. sometimes the daughter or a son remind the partner of their companion. Life can be hard try developing a thicker skin it might help bernard2
