Gabriel.
It causes my heart to quicken and stop dead,
the name is bittersweet on my lips.
Images of a fallen man and a bright angel fill my mind.
They seem to fight each other for domiance over
something so simple yet complex.
Love.
This single emotion drives them both to fight
for one long dead in both body and mind.
It causes them to hope that the one their
heart still beats for is alive and well.
Illusions.
Are these just dreams from my mind?
The fighting men both desperate to prove
themselves to a fallen angel.
Each wishing to be victourious.
Selene.
This is the name on their lips as they battle.
A tiny word that feels both with an unbreakable
resolve to finish the other for good.
Are they searching for peace or something else?
Unending.
Weither it is a dream or part of me this battle
will continue unending. Both men one in the same
fighting for dominance and me.

"Stream of Consciousness" can be interesting.
This is one of those cases.
The question may be--who do YOU want to see win. . . |

Ahhh... the epic battles that wages within our lives. Mine is actually that between Samson the toilette brush, and Goliath the porcelain bowl... Oh how they battle! I'm still at odds on which on will win, I don't intend on interceding at all... but I can definitely relate with you on this... Everyone has that devil/angel thing going on on top of their shoulders... And me, I hate to say, but I lean towards the red side. Hope you get some sort of resolve, war has bad casualties.
