And dreams are just an illusion- now
Some mirage of "Modern Prelude"
Some bittersweet nostalgia---- That suffocates -
Fountain of Youth -- Unrealized
Years passed by in a state of sleep
*****************************
Now the tick tock of the clock
catches up--- and fast!
And we wake up in a whirlwind-
as we shed our carcass of the past

| Beautifull poem, loved the words, though I do not even know what it means, do not really like poems with the funky words in them but this was a good write. |
