I need to write
it helps me to breathe.
Without it, I fear
All sanity would leave.
The words are not pretty,
but honest and real.
Love, hate, betrayal, sex
all sad, but still true.
She's blunt, she's offensive,
but always sincere.
You won't understand me
I'm too filled with fear.
Emotion is deadly,
It burns to the core.
I WON'T let you know me,
go ahead and abhor.

Sounds like someone has low self esteem and needs to do some self reflection. Living life this way will certainly be a downer and in the end will lead to unnecessary stress and self hatred. I hope this is not you and just a character in your mind or an acquaintance.
