Mile upon mile they swiftly fly,
With fiery eyes and heads held high,
Their flint feet sound a ringing cry,
As the wild bush brumbies gallop by.
Over rocky peaks they flee,
Across the plains without a tree,
A wonderful, beautiful sight to see,
These wild bush brumbies galloping free.
His head held high, his tail swishing,
The stallion watches, while others are drinking,
Ears and eyes alert, for danger they are watching,
Now the wild bush brumbies are quietly resting.

Very well written. I had no idea until I read the post what a Brumbie was but took no time to figure that out. You words are woven well. I love horses and have seen the wild ones here in the canyons and prairies of Texas. Wonderful work.
