losing grip
i'm falling down
where were you to catch me?
the tears are falling
down my face
where were you to catch them?
now angles surround my body
they're taking me away
i'm so far gone
why couldn't you save me?
i'm screaming for you
i'm on my knees now
but you don't know, you don't care
you never planned on coming here.
you're running fast
away from me
can't stand my pleading eyes
tunnel vision
you're too blind to see
what's happening to me.

Very dark...but oh so true in today's disposable world. I'm so sorry that the person does not care...I myself have lived it and have the T-shirt to prove it, as well as the scars that no one sees. Keep on writin'...Eric |
