In the shadow so dark and deep
Theres a girl youll find mostly asleep
She stays out of the sun cause she hates the light
Pople never know shes their in the shadows at night
Shes left alone in this forbidden place
Where no one knows about her case
Shes overwhelmed by where she dwells
Every hope always fails
She sleeps all day and is up all night
Happyness is not a right
She just curls up, wishing she would die
As she silently sits there she starts to cry
The weight of misery she bares
She stays where no one cares
Her emotions are in a knot inside
So she just curls up and tries to hide
Shes in this jail, their are no stars
Theirs no hope, the trees are her bars
Beneath her skin you can feel her pain
Sit on the surface and you can watch her cry in the rain
She picks up a sharp rock and takes it to her skin
The rock is like her pain, it always hurts her again
She just sits their feeling like shes dead
Shaking and crying with her knees against her head
Shes screamin but no one can hear
Shes crying but no one can retrace the tears
Shes always stuck here alone
She watches the world go by with a mute tone
All alone the shadows have seeped into her soul
Suicide has become her only unfinished goal.....
