To Tired

Topic: HumorPoetry

A very old couple woke up one morning,
what we doing today, said the old man yawning,
well, said the old woman I thought that we,
would go to the seaside and swim in the sea,

walk on the cliffs enjoy the view,
why we plan all the rest we are going to do,
oh yes, have a donkey ride,
walk out to sea with the tide,

Eat candy floss,go to the fair,
always wanted to go there,
then go to the pub and have a drink,
does that sound good, what do you think?

That all sounds good, the old man said,
but first lets have a lay in bed,
yes she said, we can do all that later,
lets just sit in the garden, and read the paper.
