Two Can Play

Contributed by EmoDCgirl36 on Tuesday, 9th August 2005 @ 11:40:29 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Bumble bee bumble bee
Come out and play
Put a smile on my face
Make the flowers giggle with glee
Make the grass blow in the breeze
Do the trick that makes you twirl
Make that person laugh and swirl
Laugh and dance in the summers heat
Smile and giggle as the sun leaves
Come again tomorrow please
And we'll make the flowers giggle with glee
But then tomorrow is school
And all I can do is die from lack of you
Dying from the loss of fun
We both fly together and dance in the sun
And that is the end of my life
I doubt anything else will be as nice
Hoping to end this lifeless love
You will never be like the dove
We will be likie bumble bees
And make the flowers giggle with glee
Who will fill this vacancy in my heart
Will you do the honors of taking it apart?
I know I'm just a dead soul now
But will you show me how
To make the flowers dance with glee
And to make the grass blow in the breeze?
But of course you can't
You're not alive. I shan't
Make my life unimportant
So I'll die along with my rant
Of love divine
And of time
And you readers can learn
That love is hard to earn
So I'll leave you be
And hope you'll be the bumble bee
That hops with the air
And flies through the hair
of the trees
May your love know no other breeze
Let love take you
And let happiness warm you
Amen.
