what i am missing

the sight of them just makes me go into a daze,
some would like to say that they are a kind of haze.
you have a pair of them and they are all yours,
i used to able to see them as i lay on the floor.
now another gets to look at them all the time,
but i just wish that i could make them mine.
they change from day to day,
they look exquisite especially in the month of may.
sometimes they might be yellow,
at those times i feel like a really lucky fellow.
other times they might be green,
and oh wow they are a sight to be seen.
i have even seen them as a shade of brown,
but dont worry that doesnt mean that i will frown.
if you havent guessed yet i am talkin about your eyes,
just the thought makes me sigh.
another thing i may have taken for granted,
and i should have thought about them when i would do all that rantin.
i look at the pictures, the ones that i havent thrown away,
just so the image in my mind wont stray.
i never knew how much i loved them,
i just hope that you dont love him. lol
i cant wait for another chance so that i can just stare,
as long as there isnt a glare.
but even then i would still be in aww,
it makes me want to see you, even if i have to go to the mall.
so i will wait until that day chooses to come,
i just hope that it isnt when i am tired of being so lonesome.
but i doubt that could happen with the love that i have,
just give me a chance to love you like i should have.

well thank you very much, when we first started having trouble i was writin like two or three a day. i have more to post and will do so soon. and everyone that i let read it says they dont know what i'm talkin about at first lol
