Jane Doe

Jane Doe

I saw her standing in the rain
Waiting for the South bound train
I never even caught her name
Now I know, I’ll never be the same....

I know her as Ms. Jane Doe
There is nothing more I need to know
Did she look my way? I think so
There is no one else
No one else for me

I sit down on the other side
To stare at beauty uncompromised
To see her smile is to win a prize
I’ve got to have her by my side...

I know her as Ms. Jane Doe
There is nothing more I need to know
Did she look my way? I think so
There is no one else
No one else for me

I’m afraid my gaze will betray
Do I tell her... she takes my breath away
Do I dare...
What will she say?

I know her as Ms. Jane Doe
There is nothing more I need to know
Did she look my way? I think so
There is no one else
No one else for me

As she walks out through those doors
I know what I’ve been longing for
This raven haired beauty I adore
Will I see her again? I’m so unsure

I know her as Ms. Jane Doe
There is nothing more I need to know
Did she look my way? I think so
There is no one else
No one else for me...........

Sad to think we might just be letting the best thing that could ever be in our lives just turn and walk away. Seems we humans just don't have enough self confidence. I do hope you will see her again and I hope you will say hello and nod at least to see if she picks up on it and answers leaving room for a conversation and maybe coffee? The worst she can say is NO. I love this. We all go through this and argue with ourselves over it for not stepping forward. So true to life. lol

I did like this. In answer to your initial question asking generally if someone has taken one's breath away, well I have to confess, yes. What's more, she is on this forum, and leaps up to greet me every time I log off. Bet you can't guess who it is ?

It is the lovely gorgeous 'Tienna' whose face is used for the dating advert that appears just about each time one logs off YPDC. I've already logged off two hundred and twelve times today just to see her. What a woman !
