You were in my arms only yesterday
wonders of the world as I look in your eyes
your little fingers holding me firmly with care
little kick I felt on my arm, is only a memory now
Today, you walk away into a world of bright,
my heart is crying knowing you have grown so fast
yesterday is the past; your present is here, and
your future will be
I called your name, with a smile you look away
a tear running down my cheek as I look in your
eyes, you waved your hand with pride and
told me to go, my heart broke to pieces as I walk
away, never wanting to look back, again

Sukalaa yes, I can relate to this wholly. It is indeed a tough time for parents, when schooling arrives. Just you wait till your dear child is a teenager ! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhh

It is indeed a tough time for parents, but there is also a smile, a sence of pride and honor as well. SLipSiX. |
