My 21 questions

Topic: oops

If I could turn back the hands of time
Who knows the things I'd change?
If I could just rewind the clock
Would I be in so much pain?

The past is the past and something I can't change
And I dont want to try
But the past has left my mind boggled
And contioniously asking why

Why can't things go how I want them to?
Why does everyhave to die?
Why do the good time stick around so long?
While to good times seem to fly?

Why does everyone make mistakes?
Why can't time be stopped, or can it?
Why is it that only the good things in life
are the the things we take for granted?

Why is the storm here now
and I have no one to look to for help?
Why is it that I never knew
I'd be in the rain by myself?

Why am I facing the rest of my life alone?
Why won't I love another?
Why don't I have a family?
Better yet, Why don't I have a mother?

Why are times only hard on me?
Why is happiness something I can't keep?
Why isn't a man really supposed to cry?
Why is love so deep?

Why is it that the answer to all of my questions
No one is willing to give?
Why out of all the lifestyles out there
This is the one I have to live?

Very sad but beautifully written.
My mother passed away in 1979 so I can relate in my own way.
