A Tourist in My Own Land

Empty again
Cleansed from the rain
Washed out
Wiped up
And spit out
The same
Help is on the way
Love builds
Fortified
Yet still
Opened to no ends
Doors that slam
Shut eye
Sleep demands
Weary legs
Pointed pegs
Stabs
At the heart
Twists apart
The ends
From the start
Where are we now
I don’t know you
But I miss you somehow
I can’t control you
Or disown you
Nor can I allow
Please understand
I love you
But it can’t be true
You lied
But all along
I knew
The truth
Nothing gets by
Undisputed
All is inspected
And refuted
A testimonial
Of a life error
Corrected
Analytically dissected
What shows
Is the bare bone
The same song
The lonely road
Traveled alone

Well this is ambiguous at best...Perhaps even you're not sure if this is meant to be negative or positive. In any case, I like the rhyming and the flow...Nicely done.
