Not all gifts are golden
some are filled with rust.
With each tongue inserted
and each hungry thrust.
I know you don't love me
you feel obligated.
Is it really worth all the times we've hated?
If I were to free you,
would you come alive?
I know the answer...
I'm sure WE would thrive.

Some of what you said in your poem is true for many relationships. I can relate to this and it is well written even if written in anger. |

"Not all gifts are golden
some are filled with rust.
With each tongue inserted
and each hungry thrust."....those words are very raw and honest......

"Is it really worth all the times we've hated?"
Really cool lines, makes one think.
Well done.
Take care.
