Exhale this smoke
A plague hidden
A consuming tyrant
Sheltered in stick
With crack of match
Or click of flint
All this hurt begins
Devoured millions
An evil cancer
So unforgiving
An unstoppable foe
Serial killer
Innocent victims
All for the dollar
Unbearable woes
So bleak
Families cry
Dying a little inside
A deathly addiction
A cost at harm
Make is stop...
For George and Sue, I won't forget you.

Your poem is good. I know how you feel. My uncle died of lung cancer and I have a poem about him on this site. It is titled Norman. |
