One night, I decided to go for a swim.
I hopped the fence to the hotel pool,
but I didn’t jump in.
I got in quietly, so no one would hear me splashing.
I swam 10 laps, being as quiet as possible.
And when I got to the edge of the pool, on the last lap,
there she was.
Looking down at me in her yellow bikini.
“Care if I join you?”
She asked sweetly.
“Sure, I’d love the company”
I reply.
That night was the best midnight swim I’ve ever had.
And it was all because
she said she wanted to join me.
