Angel Raquel Poem

the reason why youre special
i couldnt put into words
but later on that nite
a glorious sound i heard
was the sound of angels singing
as they floated to the ground
the sound of angels singing
ya ever hear such a sound?
then they walked rite up to me
got rite in my face
they said "youre in a heap of trouble boy,
cos you dont know your place!
they say youve been with Raquel
dont deny it, we know its true
we know the kinda man you are
and the things you like to do
we know you are quit simple
we know you mean to harm
we know there are lotsa silly little girls
you can fool with your charms
but ya better stay away from Raquel
or theres gonna be a fuss
Raquel is no mere mortal
she is one of us!"
oh and angel, well of course
i see it now so clear
i felt like i was in heaven
the minute that she came near
but ya know i cant resist her
ya know i cant stay away
i had a taste of heaven
now i need it more each day
and i dont know wthat will happen
cos i am just a man
and im gonna hold on to my angel
for just as long as i can!!

Excellent write, you expressed the characters well.
Important self-awareness
Yes a sense of self sacrifice to be shaped from the outside world
I am wondering who Raquel Is. She seems real.

A very lovely romantic piece.
I love the originality of the something so common, namely angels speaking to people....a very nice touch! |
